For over 16 years, Wisla has been designing, manufacturing and supplying a variety of webbings, all safety critical components, for use in a range of height safety and fall protection equipment e.g. safety harnesses, climbing slings and lanyards.  

Performance of the webbing component reaches far beyond its tensile strength, and by its very nature has to incorporate additional technical characteristics such as:

• enhanced edge wear

• specific, end-use driven, elongation performance

• aesthetics, flexibility and handle

• mechanical compatibility with hardware

• abrasion resistance and colour retention

Wisla prides itself on its willingness to offer a sampling facility, through its design and technical team, that ensures new concepts and products are tested and trialled in line with individual customer requirements in achieving and surpassing the most rigorous international standards.

In addition to being able to supply webbings to the specific colours demanded by our customers, including house colours, our dyeing and finishing range allows further enhancements to be applied to the webbing in the form of:

• fluorescent colours

• oil and water repellency

• flame retardancy

• anti-static, anti-fungal and anti-viral finishes.
